ATL Vent Valve with an external 3/8" diameter barb, to insert neatly and securely into a -6 nitrile rubber type fuel line. This is the most economical vent valve and perfect for the end of a fuel tank breather pipe, best taken from the tank and often up as high as possible, perhaps up a c-pillar or up and out under the tailgate aperture, outside the car's habaticle, but hidden by the panel. Fuel tanks need to be vented, otherwise as the fuel is used, the tank will collapse as a vacuum is created. These vent valves allow air to replace the fuel, but in the event of the car rolling over, the valve closes and prevents fuel from escaping from the fuel cell.
