Cartek fog light switch control unit. This unit complies fully with the latest IVA regulations from VOSA*, which predominantly apply to kit cars, amateur built and imported vehicles. This tiny unit only allows a rear fog light to be turned on when the headlamps are on, but more crucially, and to ensure it complies with the latest regulations, it turns the fog lamp circuit off when you turn the headlamps off, requiring the driver to turn the fog light on again when the headlamps are turned on again.
This ensures the fog light is not left on when not required, something that should be applied to front fog lights too we think!! These units are simply wired in between the fog light switch and the vehicle's headlamps, but don't worrry, wiring diamgrams are included.
Compatible with 21w traditional and LED type bulbs
