Stilo ST5 GT 8860 Carbon Helmet

Stilo ST5 GT Carbon 8860 helmet, finished in natural carbon fibre. The Stilo ST5 range has been developed further and features a new more compact shell, which is lighter and smaller, yet through clever design and the use of the latest materials, can accommodate larger head sizes. The new shell is more aerodynamic, even better ventilation, a visor that lifts fully out of the line of sight, with a new locking clasp that can be operated single handed, the Stilo ST5 really does set the benchmark for all helmets. The shell is manufactured in all carbon fibre, using medium tensile carbon materials, then moulded and pressure cured in an Autoclave. The helmet is lined with an EPS (expandable polystyrene) material and finished with a Nomex lining. The resultant lightweight helmet meets all the most stringent safety standards, weighing between 1270g to 1430g, across the size range.

The Stilo ST5 GT Carbon 8860 helmet comes with removable full earcup ear muffs, magnetic-dynamic noise cancelling microphone, integrated radio connection plug and integrated ear plugs connection. The fully moulded comms and drinks ports are streamlined into the helmet shell design, for the best aerodynamics, although this model comes fitted with an open peak sunshade for use in closed cockpit saloon and GT cars. Supplied factory fitted with HANS/FHR posts. This model can be fitted with visor to convert to ST5F Carbon 8860 spec, if desired for open top racing use. The helmet can be fitted with many optional components, these include ear muff headphones, top air system, air intakes, front and rear spoilers, lots of visors, tear offs, side port drinks system or frontal drinks system.

If you are not taking part in racing at a circuit, ie track days and don't like the idea of earplug type intercom headsets but want a full intercom headset, opt for the Stilo ST5R Carbon 8860 Rally helmet, as this has full earcup headphones fully installed and simply plugs into a Stilo or compatible amplifier with just one jack plug.
