Arai GP-7 SRC ABP Carbon Helmet, the strongest helmet ever made and meets the FiA 8860-2018 ABP (Advanced Ballistic Protection) that was made mandatory in Formula 1 since 2019.
Hand laid entirely from an immensely strong, ultralight carbon fibre weave, with an extremely comfortable and customisable fire retardant inner lining (different cheek pads available separately).
This latest model features a shell profiled especially shaped to better accomodate the wearing of FHR devices, with a multi density hybrid inner shell and a visor opening system with lever for easier opening with gloves on, within the confines of the smallest single seater cockpits.
The helmet is supplied with a range of accessories which include the famous front and rear PED spoilers, screw fitting kit, 10 piece vent kit, HANS clips, T20 Torx driver and a masking sticker tape set for helmet painting.
The top vents are not fitted when supplied, leaving the choice of setup for the customer and depending on painting requirements. The helmet is also supplied with an FiA approved, 3mm compound curved visor, pre-prepared for visor tear-offs, which are also included with the helmet.
The cheek pads have an emergency release tab to ease helmet removal by medical staff if required, with the slightly smaller visor aperature of 50mm compared to the standard GP-7 SRC model.

These superb helmets come in a clear finish ready for painting or lacquering as desired prior to use on the track.
Helmet ventilation is taken care of with the 5 inlets, 2 on the chin bar and 3 adjustable scoops, and 2 outlets on the top of the shell, now with a 25% increase in diameter to ensure increased comfort and improved visor clarity.
The FHR/HANS clips are factory fitted and it's equipped with the mandatory Kevlar reinforced chin strap and complies with the latest FiA homologation.
