DEi Black Exhaust Wrap

DEi Black Exhaust Wrap, the original and most cost effective in the range, finished dyed black. Wrapping an exhaust manifold, headers and or down pipes is an important measure that helps reduce radiant exhaust heat output by upto 50%, which reduces intake temperatures, improving efficiancy and power outputs. It also decreases exhaust gas density, increasing exhaust flow, with improved cylinder scavenging. Capable of withstanding temperatures of 1200˚F direct heat and upto 2000˚F radiant heat. This wrap can be applied dry, but works best when wetted and once cured with exhaust heat or warmed off the engine, requires sealing with some DEi Hi-Heat silicone spray, to ensure the longest life, protecting it from moisture, fluids and dirt. Installation instructions included on the packaging, best retained with stainless locking ties.
