Facet Red Top 'Works' fuel pump, the Genuine article, manufactured in the USA. The facet Red Top has been the pumping heart of so many race and rally cars over the last 50+ years. An interrupter type electic fuel pump, with internal fuel filter and larger 1/4 NPT female ports, designed for motorsport use and rated for naturally aspirated vehicles upto and exceeding 200 bhp. It runs from your cars 12v system, powered via the single positive wire at the top of the pump and earthed via the pump body. Remember if you rubber mount the pump (advised), you need to make sure you have an earth strap from the mounting hole to the bodyshell/chassis.
These pumps offer a maximum of 6.0-8.0 psi and a flow rate of 40 imperial gallons per hour and although they can be mounted in any orientation, they need to be within 0.6m from the base of the tank. Compatible with Petrol, Racing Fuels, Diesel, Biodiesel, blended Alcohol and Fuel Additives. The pump number 480532E is stamped into the body near to one of the mounting holes.
